How about an Ultimate Mega-Lite? I'm facing a big shortage in hard drive space and it got me thinking. How about a BodhiLinux approach? Include all the TheeMahn genius goodness, such as a killer Cowboy theme, the wicked Compiz settings out-of-the-box, the unsurpassed Conky, Ultimate Player, (best thing since sliced bread, gotta have it!) and the Ultimate Edition quality, with Chromium browser, Synaptic, Gnome 2 and that's it? We literally add what we want, we skip the whole Unity mess and we "make our own Ultimate Edition" to suit our own needs. Make it a one-off and see what happens. Yes? No? Crazy? It could be set to the Ultimate Edition repositories so it wouldn't break the system to add something. Not being a coding genius like TheeMahn, I would assume that it would be an easy build. I'm probably wrong and I certainly wouldn't want to add to the man's workload, I'm just curious here. It could even be a one-time Enlightenment build, we could out-Bodhi Bodhi, lol.
(Plus, say I just added Brasero, Transmission and Picasa I could have an OS that would be telepathic-fast, one of the draws of Bodhi, besides minimal hard drive space requirements). Ultimate Edition is known for pushing the envelope in a beautiful, quality way, what if we also became known as not the everything-and-the-kitchen-sink OS?
