You have a few options, the closest way to get your Hardy very close to Ultimate Edition 1.9 is using Ultamatix script, please go to www.ultamatix.com and grab it. This script will allow you to install tons of software that is included in Ultimate Edition, including the theme packs to make it look the same.
If you can't burn a DVD you could use a USB thumbdrive, please refer to this HOWTO

Perhaps someone here can tell me if there's a way to use UNETBOOTIN to install Ultimate Edition?
TheeMahn?

Maybe you can give me the sources of the program to see if I can change them to make it work?
Would you like me to talk with "tuxcanfly" (Unetbootin writer) to see if he's willing to help us make it work with Ultimate Edition ?

Ziv

Welcome to the club then, here's the cure, a new release every month or two! We're all insane too, and we love our sickness...

How funny, I thought you were one of our Admin's 'ZeroPrime'  I was thinking, " Why the heck is he having so much trouble with this... .he's answered questions like these for quite some time now <scratches/head> ... LOL.
I would try installing using the 'Safe Graphics Mode' from the first menu that pops up after you boot from the disc. See if that helps you.
