Hi, Has any one found a solution to the problem of data transfer from the hdd to a usb. essentialy since ext4 came in data transfer from partition to partition or hdd to hdd on board drives that is, is quick, however whenever i try and transfer data particularily to usb devices and files in excess of say 250MB it is so slow it is painful to watch when it eventualy finishes the download bar sits for ages, sometimes not going at all?, This was not an issue with ext3, it is not an issue with the hard ware as it was fine before ext4. It is fine on 4 other operating systems on the same PC, this also happens on my new laptop and happened on my old laptop, any one with an answer? i have been googling but not found a reasonable answer apart from that is how it is until it is fixed!
