"I found the answer. I went through the README in /etc/grub.d and went to /etc/default/grub and found out that when installing, Ultimate places GRUB_DEFAULT=6. This has to be changed to GRUB_DEFAULT=1"

That was what I wrote in my post "Few problems", but when I tried to add something the Forum Web site went off the net.

I have to correct one thing.

When, one goes into /etc/default/grub, one has to change the GRUB_DEFAULT=0, not as I wrote GRUB_DEFAULT=1
and then must update-grub as root.

Hope that is helpful, and didn't mislead others.

Best regards!

Thank you!

Well, I asked help, and I had to help myself too, then the result must go to others. That's exactly why this forum is.
