Hi Blackwolf I try the unsupported locale settings the program does not open up I try it using live cd and a full install .

Seen this a few times.

For kicks, open it as root via terminal and see if it opens.

If it does, I can easily help fix it.

Post output in terminal please.

99% of the time 1 of two things happens

1. you have another app waring with devede for services

2. permissions set wrong.

It opens then closes terminal ?

If so, you have more going on then just devede.

We need some detailed specs and full os info please.

Hi try UL2.9 on two different pc and got the same Devede does not open at all .

Humm fully updated and Ultimate Edition 2.9 x64 and x32 devede is opening just fine and fully working here.

So I know it isnt a update that broke devede. I know devede works with Ultimate Edition 2.9.

Thus, logic would dictate it isn't a common problem. Some were some how it ( your systems ) are customized or something.

OR

Ok I have a thought here. What GPU do you have with what drivers ?

I am on ATI and Intel here. I have my Nvidia rig swapped out for ATI right now.

So wondering if it could be GPU based issue.
