Problem with broadcom 4311 wireless dont work

On friend of me asked to me if i can install linux in your pc, i answer of corse i can try it.

I choose Ultimate Edition to the pc , the pc is one hp pavillion, the install works fine but the wireless dont work the driver is installed broadcom 4311 the driver dont appear in system administration additional drivers and the appelt dont connect to the network and the wlan0 dont appear and if try ifconfig wlan0 up result in one message with:

no interface or else.

What can i do

echo b43 >> /etc/modules
exit


add one line at a time in terminal.
