When i open gcursor and try change other cursors nothing result the new cursor not appear and nothing happen.
If i open gcursor with root same problem not implement new cursors.
What is the problem?

Perhaps it is not my place to post here, but from all I can find searching the net Gcursor has not worked since--ever. Look down yhis forum and you will find a post where I was given help on this issue.
While the advice I got worked, I have since found that switching cursors in Compiz is a no-win situation. Yes you can do it but soon (I don't know why) Compiz will crash and leave you needing to reinstall. Far better to choose between the eye candy of Compiz and the basic cursor set or Metacity with its lack of candy but comfort with any cursor I've used with it. Anyone more checked out on this please feel free to correct me on any point.
