rip a dvd ?

hello my daughter has lent me Harry Potter Deathly Hollow Part 1 and i would like to rip it to a dvd,i have tried acidrip and handbrake but i cannot seem to get it to rip,any ideas of a simple application i can use to do the job please?
i am using Ultimate Edition 2.9

Handbrake would be the right choice.

Take another look at it.

when i try to open handbrake it says unable to create grb.
internal error could not parse ui description ?

its ok i am going to use my apple mac and handbrake to rip the dvd and because i have not got a dvd writer i will put the file to a memory stick and then use devede to produce the dvd.

I too have this same error with handbrake, fresh fully updated/medibuntu 10.10 / kern 2.6.35-30 / gnome 2.32.0 / Ultimate Edition 2.9
handbrake Internal error. Could not parse UI description.
tried uninstall and reinstall, and no change

you can try using dvd::::rip more advanced but once you know how to use it, its a dream :D
