Hi Ultimate 2.9 guys <BREW>

i have been battleing my pinacle pctv card for 5 days now

i have the sound working YEAH ALSA works

my video also works now in Kplayer but there is some kind of sync problem
i
sound is running smooth but the live tv is holding back some frames

in general props i see the folowing

Name

in the video tab its all default and the codec on auto

In the advanced tab
demuxer on Default
frame drop on None
Cache on Auto
Build new index on Default
hardware compression off

How can i sync the sound with the live tv ?

hope to get an answer

I found this:
Full support for the device is now in the mainline v4l-dvb repo. Both analog and digital TV are supported, and the remote control should also function properly now.

To download the latest v4l-dvb tree, simply select the bz2 or gz link on the top left of the page, then build them via running "make" followed by "make install". More thorough downloading/building instructions can be found here.

Be sure to restart your computer before attempting to use the card.

Have you tried the xbmc GUI?

noob user last saterday i bgun eploring the new world of computing hahahahaha YES!

tryed almost anny program in the audio and video (the recomended TV time mythtv )section lol and some from ultimatix + ubuntu software center

XBMC is a Media Center GUI, It is a GUI like Gnome or KDE, but strictly runs your media hardware and applications similar to Winblows Media Center. It has TV, Music, and other options.
