[SOLVED] How to adjust 2.6 standard theme in Gnumeric?

Help & support for Ultimate Edition 2.6

[SOLVED] How to adjust 2.6 standard theme in Gnumeric?

Postby TBABill » Thu May 19, 2011 5:33 pm

I have been running and enjoying 2.6.1 and I have kept the stock theme in place. It's quite nice and I'm not in a hurry to change it. However, within Gnumeric the theme coloring makes it impossible to see the cell identifiers. For example, the top left cell is A1. If you look to the left and above that cell you cannot see the letters or numbers that identify the cell. The theme is dark and so is the font used within Gnumeric so it's just a large gray box above and left of the cells. Any way to change those within just Gnumeric? I assume OO or LibreOffice would look the same?

Thanks!! Loving Ultimate Edition still.

Based on GTK color system.

So system/preferences/appearance/customize

Pick your colors.

Short of a full theme change I'm not finding any way to change that portion of the theme within the appearance customization options. Am I missing or overlooking something?

Not all themes can be modified.

Chances are your on a locked theme.

Time to create your own work of art my friend.

This should help.
