W:GPG error: http://ppa.launchpad.net karmic Release: The following signatures couldn't be verified because the public key is not available: NO_PUBKEY 68A3CE6B39BD81CA
W:GPG error: http://ppa.launchpad.net karmic Release: The following signatures couldn't be verified because the public key is not available: NO_PUBKEY 632D16BB0C713DA6

Any suggestions?

Hello billhedrick.

well at this point of time (3 weeks and some),
Ubuntu made some big changes on here servers.
In post on my blog,I point to this issue then.
No worry about it, you can just get other servers to update your system.
There are 325 servers for the update!
so please go to system=>Administration=>software source and:

your firewall will start be kind of crazy that is ok - clean it at the end of the process.
at the end of the process you will have new server = the best for your location.

Thanks Admin-Amir... (waiting while the package Info downloads)... OK I still get the same errors! Not sure what to do, it looks like I need a pubkey to get these but I am not sure how to get them, Google!

OK that didn't work. The main option I got from this was to request keys from keyserver.ubuntu.com, the keyserver timed out.

billhedrick .

Think for one sec here.
If the new keys are not released yet - then how you can have them?
they will load on the release of the package when it is public.
when you will update/upgrade your system in the terminal/synaptic.

Here is what I have try to tell you.
In the first option you can add the key from the terminal = copy past and Enter.

you can see there is the command line to copy and past.

the second option you can just add the repo = no key is available.

Well I tried to update and that failed. I think it gave me the wrong pubkey. I did a partial update last night, I will take a look at the machine in a little bit to see if that did the trick

The softpedia "how to" worked for me on my "lucid" install, you might want to start by removing the afflicted sources from update manager, and then run the "how to". ;)
