i thought something else...how to convert wma to mp3? i tried to sooundconverter but nothing.

here some options for you to do it:
VLC can transcode anything include WMA when use with the DMO codecs.

OR

HOWTO: convert wma to mp3

wma to wav:

Code: Select all
>mplayer -ao pcm:output-file-name.wav input-file-name.wma


wav to mp3:

Code: Select all
>mplayer -ao pcm:output-file-name.mp3 input-file-name.wav
