exhaust fan toshiba laptop

Hi all,
the exhaust fan on my Toshiba a200 doesn't turn on till my cpu temp hits about 63C, is it possible to turn it on all the time. no adjustment in bios.

Maybe, maybe not. I am not sure as to what to instruct you to do in your bios, but i don't think the fan thing you reporting here is a big prob as the manufacture made the fan to operate that way when the system reaches a certain temperature point!! My question is, why do you want to change the fan from working the way it was programmed to work?

Before I go any further, does the fan spin all the time if and when your using Windows or any other operation system?

I am very sure that the way your fan is behaving is just how is was design to work. That fan is what we computer techie normally refer to ask a smart fan!!

I did my research and i must say that there is not much to be said/resolution to your problem. As said earlier, just as i thought it is a smart fan and it doesn't work no other way. Sorry. It might be hard to over look your prob, but i am asking that you do just that ;)
