Help & support for Ultimate Edition 2.3

Problem after Standby

Postby gj1006 » Sun Sep 27, 2009 7:27 am

Hello,

after I had turned my system into Standby-mode, my computer doesn't start up. It shows the splashscreen with a empty loadbar but the system doesn't load. I can wait hours and there does nothing. Can everyone help me?

+1 Here too Blackwolf.
Your BIOS should contain options for Standby/Wake which you can change - Only after you follow the above post. ;)

O.K. Lets do this one step at a time. Please be very specific. :)
Firstly, please let us know what kind of computer you are running and the specifications please.
Secondly, what operating system/s are you running on the computer? Is it just Ultimate Edition 2.3?
Thirdly, is the computer operating as it should apart from Standby?

Are you currently 'stuck' in a standby freeze and cannot start up from boot?

Help us to help you. ;)

Hi,
Plz boot in verbose mode and tell us where it freezes.
Definitely some hardware(driver) problem but which one needs to be found and remedied.
Good luck...

The problem was a hardware Problem. I couldn't boot any system. I had formatted my whole HD and now I'm installing Ultimate Edition 2.3.

O.K. Thanks for the update. Hope it goes well. Do you know what the hardware was that failed?

Cheers.
