Kompozer 0.8a2

I found a new version of Kompozer instead of the one packed with Ultimate Edition 2.1 that don't work properly.

How do I install it ? The only information I can find on the subject is either about Fiestly or getting 0.7.7 as a deb file. This is a 686 tar.gz.
I have downloaded it to desktop and unpacked it there.

Clicking on "kompozer" start the program, but trying opening any of the others don't help me. Where do I find information on how to install it or what will it be a good idea searching for

Thanks pch. but I was thinking more in terms of: do I just make a folder in "user" named ".kompozer" and unpack it there instead, and then make a short-cut on the desktop to /user/.kompozer/kompozer or is there a better way

Edit:
I copied the unpacked folder to "/usr/share" so the desktop shortcut became "/usr/share/kompozer-0.8a2/kompozer" and it works

Just wondering - is it because it's not a .deb package I can't install it so it automatic places a link in "Programs > Internet" - not that it makes a big difference, just curious.

You can make a link to the executable file from the extracted folder.
