Firefox 3.0 has been crashing with other operating systems as well. I'm using Opera 10 beta and it will crash once in a while as well(not 6 times in one day). I guess you could use another web browser till it gets fixed or try the new beta Firefox:http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-beta.html

I highly recommend Swiftweasel for those using Ubuntu who like Firefox. It tends to use less ram and is significantly faster.

You can find it at http://sourceforge.net/project/showfile ... _id=230717

Automatix has an installer for an older version but version 3 is what I use. I'd recommend the stable 3.0.1 release as it comes as a .deb to make your install easier.
I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

Haven't had a crash in firefox in ages, but sometimes have a problem with flash-movies - have to reload the page, and sometimes even restart firefox to see it. Besides that, it just work :)
