just wondering.. your work is amazing THeMAnn,
what are your plans for ubuntu 8.10?
what about an Ultimate gnome ONLY w/all the goodies or loads of apps.. but just ONE window manager?
or perhaps a Kubuntu ulimate w/kde 4.1.2 w/all goodies, loads of apps..?
hopefully for 64 bit ( i like seeing all my ram)

hope this isnt bugging you.. just wondering what your plans are with the new ubuntu/kubuntu, if any.

i did an upgrade and it turned out to be UU 2.0, very nice indeed. have a look at the update manager ans see if there are any distro updates for you. i got the message there was a partial upgrade available and now it boots 2.0!

Nick is correct. This is only the 2.0 theme. You can open Sysinfo and see that it still reads as Hardy 8.04.

There will be a 2.0 though. As always, it will rock. Some of the Admins are beta testing right now.

I wish anyone could answer that with an exact date. Go with when Ubuntu 8.10 comes out, then give it ummmm maybe a month, give or take a couple of weeks.

I have just installed Ubuntu Intrepid(8.10 Beta) and I am loving it... Screenshots to come...

I am still in the works of installing KDE 4.1 and a few others that would make my build awesome... <BREW>

The rest of the build stats are in my sig. :p

Anybody know if I could use "sudo apt-cdrom" to use the 1.9 x64 as a source..? That way I could use some of the apps from the DVD. I have already installed EnvyNG and Ultamatix with no problems...

Ubuntu Tweak and Compiz-Fusion are also working flawlessly...
