disk encryption question

I have a laptop and need full disk encryption, Ubuntu has this feature but I can not find it in Ultimate, am I missing it? or can I install vanilla ubuntu and upgrade it to ultimate somehow?

yea, I know how to do it with the vanilla ubuntu, but how do I do it in ultimate or can I upgrade vanilla ubuntu to ultimate?

It looks like TheeMahn would have had to create Ultimate Edition off of an alternate cd and I believe he installs it off the LTS version. I don't think its possible to use the encryption option with any standard Ultimate Edition distro. If however you want to get something close to Ultimate Edition from the alternate installer after you install it, you can download Ultimatix and get somewhat close.
