I'm not quite sure if your going to have much luck running compiz with an intel integrated graphics. I have no experience with setting up intel graphics, but it might be a little tougher to get it running right.
I would recommend you have a read of this article that addresses your situation:

Might seem obvious, but have you tried Applications>System Tools>Envy & install the driver that way?

Can you also chuck in some System Specs in your signature for us to look at please :D

I may be wrong, but I don't think Envy will help install Intel Drivers, will it???

Hey,

I tried to type the command that Nick posted but it said i had the latest intel video driver installed.

What do you mean by update? I have ran the update manager and installed all the updates.

I just tried doing what this site says to do http://wiki.compiz-fusion.org/Intel%20with%20AiGLX
but now it made me run in low graphics mode im stuck in 800 x 600 screen resolution.
And when I try to run the command it tells me to start compiz with i get this:

Checking for Xgl: [1] 6572
nathan@nathan-laptop:~$ not present.
No whitelisted driver found
aborting and using fallback: /usr/bin/metacity
metacity: Unknown option --indirect-rendering

Thanks for all the help so far.
