Flash firefox - Ultimate Edition 1.9

Hi All:

I'm big trouble with flash player and flash animations with the ff 3.0.1 (Ultimate Edition 1.9)... i follow the instructions on how to of viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1209 but i only see a white frame, i can see maybe only 5 o 10% of flash animations the rest is dead, no flash at all, or if i got lucky i can see a flash animation o movie but it freeze and i got to Play--freeze- Play again--freeze-play again...i'm working to a personal project, but if the problems persist, i have to change to windows again for working, i need some help please.

Try this: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=620
You can skip the first steps and just do the download flash tarball and do the cut and paste part.

I had almost the same problem,

Code: Select all
1. Launch Synaptic Manger
2. Custom search  "gnash" mozilla  plugin
3. Remove or uninstall gnash plugin
4. Restart FireFox
5. Test on youtube (srcoll forward and back)

I did that, it works...i can see very good videos, animations.....but firefox crashes 95% of the time :x

It doesn't work, i've tried with some sites with flash and.....nothing...is like if there no flash plugin :x

I've tried youtube and no crashes, some speedtest.net and no blank frame...everything is good at the moment..

Do Not install anything else that flash player, then do the "solution" and restart linux (i did that just in case)

So it was a sound issue. That is very interesting.

Important Thing, go to:

System > Prefences > Sound ... Select only ALSA in the options.
