Yes there will be a 32bit version of 1.8.
For starters the download link will be labeled x64 or x86 (32bit),
and if you can get the 64bit Live DVD to load on a 32bit system, you're doing better than I did.
(just wanted to see if I could)
Also (on my systems) the x64 Live DVD didn't run slow & sluggish like a live disc normally does.
The x64 live DVD ran faster than the x32 that was installed on the hard drive of the same machine, Go figure!!

Just like a high performance sports car and an economy car,
while they both get you there, you can easily tell the difference.

Wow all these lovely numbers dancing around in my head, to many to choose from. I am still waitin on Hardy Herron 64. So far, my beta version is running the best of any Ubuntu I have! So my guess will be, that maybe 2.0 might be Hardy based? Clue me in. So far, it flat works. "So many Ubuntus...so little time!" Windows never.....(Well every once in a while)........Ultimate forever!

1.8 will be hardy based, with the first release being x64, followed closely by 1.8 x32bit.
When it's ready TheeMahn will announce it to the forum members.
