Yes there will be a 32bit version of 1.8.
For starters the download link will be labeled x64 or x86 (32bit),
and if you can get the 64bit Live DVD to load on a 32bit system, you're doing better than I did.
(just wanted to see if I could)
Also (on my systems) the x64 Live DVD didn't run slow & sluggish like a live disc normally does.
The x64 live DVD ran faster than the x32 that was installed on the hard drive of the same machine, Go figure!!

Just like a high performance sports car and an economy car,
while they both get you there, you can easily tell the difference.

Oh well, how much can be in a name anyway, the proof is in the pudding. 1.8 then 1.9 maybe 2.0
Wow all these lovely numbers dancing around in my head, to many to choose from. I am still waitin on Hardy Herron 64. So far, my beta version is running the best of any Ubuntu I have! So my guess will be, that maybe 2.0 might be Hardy based? Clue me in. So far, it flat works. "So many Ubuntus...so little time!" Windows never.....(Well every once in a while)........Ultimate forever! :o

Ya Ultimate Edition forever!
1.8 will be hardy based, with the first release being x64, followed closely by 1.8 x32bit.
When it's ready TheeMahn will announce it to the forum members.
