Mplayer package, how is it built for Ultimate?

Help & support for Ultimate Edition 1.8

These are the versions that are available at this moment:

2:1.0~rc2-1~getdeb1 (repoubuntusoftware.info)
2:1.0~rc2-0ubuntu13+medibuntu1 (hardy)
2:1.0~rc2-0ubuntu13 (hardy)

You're saying he makes no changes, but if that were the case the versions would be identical. The one distributed on the ultimate repo has a different version which would indicate a change to the software (Not necessarily true). If there really is no change and the application packaged in each version is identical then that's cool. I can live with that, I can get the source from the version that he's repacking. If that's not the case then I would like to build my package on the foundation already set forth by TheeMan. That way if a user uses my package they don't lose functionality that I may have over looked. I am to only add functionality to the already existing package. Also since it's being distributed in binary format and the license that software is developed under is GPL the source should be available, period.

Maybe while your at it you can get mplayer to sync video and audio for flash video because the mplayer included in Ultimate does not for me. I had to install the one from getdebi to have it work properly.
You can get the latest builds of mplayer here(from subversion):
