Howdy again Angel ;) I forget (if you've mentioned somewhere on here before) are you wired to it (ethernet) or wireless?? and have you done a firmware upgrade from the DLink site?? I know what you mean about the mom deal...mine has dementia and she keeps telling me she's not the one that keeps loading all the BS on her system 'til it freezes up and won't do anything...so I ask her, "Ok then, so which one of you was it??" ;)

LMAO...Mom's (or Mum's ;) ) gotta luv'em  I would suggest first to upgrade the firmware...you can get all that here:

Firmware for M'lady ;)

...You'll need Revision C (it's an Oct07 release.. your present firmware is a Mar07). Back when I was on DSL in Tennessee, usually any problems would be corrected by the firmware upgrade...but if that doesn't do it for ya...well, we'll be keepin' an eye out for ya ;) 8-)

Pretty ironic that you have to "down-load" the firmware with the router that is having problems staying connected .... lol.

LOL...been there done that..closet full of those t-shirts <BREW> <BREW> If that doesn't do it for ya there's a couple other things such as checking all the right IP addresses in the right places, whether or not you need DHCP enabled/disabled, things of that nature ;) ...also if you've done an update recently affecting the header files, then you might need to reisntall the VNCViewer and other app any non-supported dependencies that you're using so they'll rewrite their header files or whatever all that pertains to because of upgrading kernal...not to sure on that one but someone else may be...good luck with it later tho' 8-)

Ahhh yes, the old Switch-It-From-ADSL-PLUS-Multi-to-Plain-Vanilla-ADSL2-Multi trick. Classic.

Bravo, Milady, Brav...oh.
