I also am having the same problem & it seems to be related to phpbb3 only.

I tried both

http//www

in both case my login is not remembered on this forum where as I use other forums also which arealso phpbb3 based & they work fine.

This was something that was actually talked about on the Admin boards. Unfortunately there was no solution.

There was one sort of solution that Cab suggested, was to set one of your homepages as the forum, and then it worked.

Unfortunately this only works for people with a static IP, and even this only works until the forum server times out. (Kind of like a screen saver, you have a certain time allowed with no activity then it automatically logs you out) For those with server assigned IP, it works until you reconnect and are assigned a new IP, but you still have the server automatic logout to contend with.

We all hope this issue will be fixed it the near future.

Of course I read that (and was very hopefull) BUT
Since it was posted in the Mod & Admin section, until it gets implemented, It would be very unwise of me to post anything about it outside of the Mod & Admin section.
While I don't like making mistakes, I do try to ensure that I don't make the same one twice. ;)
