Hello try this in terminal without the " " marks..
Enter the following commands in order: "sudo apt-get install -f", "sudo dpkg --configure -a", "sudo apt-get autoremove", "sudo apt-get clean && sudo apt-get autoclean", and finally, "sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade"... ;)
