what happened to the little scripts menu when you right click on a file, i realized it was gone when trying to set a usplash, also it had little converters for video, terminal here, etc. not super important, but how do i make a usplash now?

Open Synaptic
Navigate to the Nautilus section
make sure all the little Nautilus goodies are installed
I believe you want Nautilus-scripts-collection-svn
or Nautilus-scripts-manager

I couldn't function without Nautilus-gksu
and Nautilus-scripts-audio-convert is pretty handy too.
If you play much with images Nautilus-image-converter is a good tool also.

wow good tips, couldn't do that in windows could you? yeh i didn't think so. that image converter is especially useful, always had to open gimp and save as, thanks!

ive noticed this same thing. oddly enough if i sudo nautilus they are now listed but only in that session if i close out that instence of it then they are gone again.

Makes one wonder if Canonical has taken a page from M$ and are now protecting us from ourselves.
Like what they did with Reconfigure xorg.conf.
