Darn...well we will get it fixed, sounds like the KDE problems is back to haunt us...OK boot into the gnome desktop..
try this

Code: Select all
 sudo apt-get remove kubuntu-docs

Code: Select all
 sudo apt-get install kubuntu-docs

that will remove & then reinstall that package.

im thinking this is exactly what the problem is.

if that dont work try the next few things.

Code: Select all
  sudo apt-get install -f

if this does not work...go into Synaptic...click Edit..then click Fix Broken Packages..

EDIT:Better yet just go to Synaptic..uninstall kubuntu-docs..then reinstall them..while in Synaptic..click edit and fix broken packages.. ;)

In the meanwhile, should I use KDE from the Add/Remove Programs?
