Thee man and the folks behind Ultimate!

Excited abotu the upcoming version. Just want to first say thanks for all the years I have used Ultimate. I am no progammer so I cant do what you do right now. (but I am trying to learn some javascript now - but still crashing things - you guys are in another league) So a very big thanks.

I have introduced Ultimate to many churches using bad software here in Thailand and a few schools as well. You really made a comlete package for a user to get going. (but I do install pyrenamerand a few windows apps for education when its a school)

I have one question I am not sure where to direct. Often I am on a flash drive helping others. I have been trying to make a lighter version - take out some programs. But I do something wrong. Any suggestions where I might learn how to make a version that is lighter (unused programs out). Im sometimes on old machines. (the light version once was great but my new cpu needs firmware not supported - I still have to learn how to get it correctly after many attempts).

I may be stupid and talking out of my head on this. Is there such a thing as putting a script in the setup that would allow a lighter amount of software to be installed for older computors? (please remember I just started to learn javascript so I may be asking alot but not know how much I am asking)

Hello,

Wow, great screen shots. I would love to test Ultimate Edition 3.5. Were can I download it? I know it is not ready yet, but I would love to test it now. I have been rockin' 3.2 for a while, and Black Opal. I am not a Linux guru, by no means, but I have the time to tinker and learn.

There are four machines I would like to try them on a HP NC6400, Gateway 838gm, Gateway LX6810-01, and Toshiba L755. I would prefer to install it on the LX6810-01.

Thanks,

Looking sweet and looking forward to it! Ultimate has stopped my distro hopping! I always was looking for something better but once I downloaded Ultimate 3.4 nothing seems to be better! Sure there are other distros that gives me ideas or has some programs I want, but none seem to function half as well as Ultimate!!! Thanks for putting an end to my distro hopping days!!! Love the pictures. Really shows what true professionals you people are as you don't release anything that doesn't work or not quite there! Sure I am excited to move on to the newest Ultimate, but I also really appreciate when that time comes I know it will be another Picasso such as 3.4 has been! Best wishes and will state again that someday am positive you will get the recognition you deserve! Of course I hope it comes quickly, cause you people are tops in this business as I see it!!!!!
