Hi I have a probleme on partition part it does not want to find my hard drive i am not sure who to install it if it does not want to find my hd. and i have 1.2 gamer edition

Could you please post your system specs? This might help out a little.

Just a question, why install 1.2 when there are newer and more updated versions available.. ? Your system should handle everyone of them.

well because that is the only one i have .i got it from PcFormat disc and i am not planing to download like 3gb on my 2gb cap

OK - let me ask you this. What format is your drives in? Is it NTFS? Fat32? I would suggest that you use Gparted (System>>Administration>>Partition Editor) and remove/ delete the exitsting partitions and reformat to Ext3. This is probibly your problem (a format that is not supported for install or maybe your a little foggy on the requirements for the install?). Have you checked this HOW-TO out? Look that over and let me know if that helps you out at all.

U see there is nothing to format there is nothing to delete it does not found any drives at all and the drive is NTFS but yeah i will just rother go with cowboy's idea just download 1.6 gamer edition and see that is and i am not new with ubuntu i used the normal edition so i know how to format and those stuff i just wanted to know if there some kind of drivers or something what i must use because in this 1.2 it does not accessed but in windows it does :cry: good bye cap
