Gee drama .... don't worry about putting me on the spot! ;)

As for the resolution problem, what are you trying to do to get it to load? Are you loading from within windows? or are you having your computer boot from CD (that you select in bios)? If you are booting from CD, are you trying the safe graphics mode?

sorry daddy...i thought it was you that dealt with that card before. no harm no foul rite.

as far as the original posters question goes. now ive nvr had to use safe graphics mode so it might do the same thing. but something i would try is hit f6. remove quiet and splash from the boot line. this will let you boot w/o a usplash. i jus bring this up because there has been a big issue with usplash affecting ppl to varing degress. and thats what it sounds like. your gettin the exact symtoms that most get. and i say that was a possible solution when i read the bug report. its worth a try.

You know, I've never tried it before - but maybe you could use WUBI to do this with Ultimate Edition. It says that you can use an ISO file or a CD so its could work. Let me know if you have success!

OK- I'll go ahead and warn myself to not double post now ... .DaddyX3, Don't double post, just edit your existing post and save some space on the forum - thank you. ;)
I just remembered that there was a gent that installed and loaded a live session without video driver support. Check this out and see if it helps.
