Busybox V1.1.3 error

got an issue guys having problems i just upgraded from 1.6 to 1.7 and trying to get dual boot with my winxp again and im getting busybox error after i click start or install ubuntu off the live CD ive even so much as unpluged windows HDD and tryed to install it when i just try to boot from the Linux Drive it gives me Grub 17 error what am i doing wrong ive been working with this now for 5 days .. anything would help please thanks

1.5gig ram
40gig WDC
30gig Samsung ( Windows ) ..

Maybe download this:http://www.puppylinux.org/user/downloads.php?cat_id=1
and burn it from a friends computer. It is slackware, but you will be able to look at your grub and take a picture of it and post back. Then someone who is a grub expert can tell you how to fix it. I am by no means a grub expert. pch

To fix a borked Grub or a duel boot issue, there's nothing like SuperGrub.
Tiny little download
Download the format you want, (Live CD, floppy, or USB pendrive)
Transfer or burn to whatever you're using
Make sure bios is set to boot for the format you are using
boot
Follow the SuperGrub directions, and your Grub is as good as new.
The Bomb-Diggety for duel boot.
1st Box: Ultimate Edition 2.0 x64/ 1.8 x64

3rd Box: Stable Media box Ultimate Edition 1.8 x64 with XBMC
