Have you tried running Xfire with it unpacked to /home/Maddog/.wine/drive_c/Program Files
I've had good luck with apps that had to be dragged there the hard way.
1st Box: Ultimate Edition 2.0 x64/ 1.8 x64
2nd Box: XP (dusty)
3rd Box: Stable Media box Ultimate Edition 1.8 x64 with XBMC

Not working, that's sad.

I read, on Game Tome, some people are using Skype, but they had to dial it in.
Came across this link for Video Chat Software, might be something useful there.

According to the main Ubu forums, some players did get xfire working

Pidgen xfire
How to: official Xfire with Wine

So it looks like you got options :D
1st Box: Ultimate Edition 2.0 x64/ 1.8 x64
2nd Box: XP (dusty)
3rd Box: Stable Media box Ultimate Edition 1.8 x64 with XBMC
