Postby D1Knight » Tue Mar 02, 2010 4:31 am

Hello. :) Since Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx, will have a LXDE release-Lubuntu (It is looking good! and includes Chromium as default browser-nice), will there be LXDE included in Ultimate Edition 2.6 or by say Ultimate Edition 2.7? :?: Have a great week everyone. :) Peace.

Not trying to second quess TheeMahn..
There is a few of us testing LXDE in Ultimate Edition 2.6..but we have added it to the build, and there are some problems..not many
But with every update on testing there could be a problem, not with LDXE but with the Ubuntu main, it is still in Alpha.
File size in Ultimate Edition and it's final will be the issue...so really cant say...because it, LXDE can be easly uploaded in the distro itself..

Hi cowboy. :) Thanks for your response. Yes, I should have worded my post better. Not to second guess anyone, but if anyone who is a tester, found the LXDE included in the current testing version.

That is true cowboy, ok to add to distro's final version, after install is an option. Thank you, kindly. :) Peace.

Hi billhedrick. :) Thanks for your response. Mmmm....that's an idea, install in 2.5 via synaptic. I am thinking, for me anyway better to wait for final release of Lucid Lynx, then go for LXDE (current version). Have a great week. :) Peace.
