registration problems fyi

I'm a new 1.6 user. Thought I'd register on this forum as I like this OS.
It took four "goes" to register as all of the fields near the bottom of the "registration" page are blank.
Even when you blindly select one it stays blank and registration is refused.

Thanks for the heads up and welcome aboard! :D I went to register with a different name and everything worked out OK for me on this side. It did take me a few times, I don't know why, but everything appears to be in place right away. Sorry for the mishap.

I hope this to all go away it is a problem in PHPBB, when a link is placed with session ID's in place. We are running the "final" release of it does not mean it is not without quirks, I am aware of it and hands are tied currently. You could not post unless you are registered, but I get the jest of what you mean.

On a similar note, the little check box that is supposed to log you in automatically doesn't seem to work for me, either in WinXP or Ultimate Edition.... Each time I log on, the check box is empty, but the fields (name, password) are filled. Minor inconvenience, not a pressing issue by any means.

(BTW, it's "gist" rather than "jest", unless you meant to say you got the joke! :D )
