Thanks it work well for the packages one know about, but I had to get the lists, found some in protech forums and scibuntu had a list, even though it got old (2006) since scibuntu lies in ruins, the thing is I'm still finding a way to get the stuff from backtrack/protech/nubuntu, those aint packages...
And even if you can manually get them, its also long, Synaptic doesnt have a very precise package management (like all the games in 1 and 1 only directory, some packages in multiple directories), I think it should be worked on by synaptic or other package managers.
