Hello Thee Mann,
I love the player! Thank you so much for creating such a wonderful toy! I do have a request. It might be pie-in-the-sky thinking, but, here it goes....
I love to rip music. To date, I have been using WinAmp and Streamripper to fill folders all day and then I import to itunes and let Tuneup make tags and such. It works fine but here is what I really want. Pandora. I know, I know, Pandora has changed their code so much that it seems either impossible to rip or impossible to stay up to date with their changes. However, thats what I want. "Ultimately", I'd like Pandora to play within Ultimate player and rip all streams to a folder of my choosing. If the files get automatically tagged, well that would be amazing. Is it feasible or do I just not understand the complexities of what I'm asking?
Thanks again, and thanks for you service. This veteran appreciates it.

Hey Theemahn,

On the Ultimate Player site there is a 101 version. Is this the current version? I tried to compile it, but I think it wants to build in your (Theemahn) directories. I tried to edit the CMakeCache.txt, but I must have done something wrong.

The Ultimate Player site breaks down what .debs were made for what Ultimate Edition version. Have you tried editing the CMakeCache.txt ??!! ;)

U.P. is great! I ignored it for a while but soon found it more reliable than other choices.
In the settings it allows remote controll through an Android phone. I entered my complete Gmail address and password and clicked Login to what seems no affect. What should happen next or what should I do on the Android phone end?

I have the same problem with UP! - that is there is no real instructions on how to get the remote working. None of the standard fare of apps for linux remote control work. Guess I'll have to download the code and see for myself.

As a future item: Have F1 bring up a help screen or link to a site that lists help information.

Advancments is Ultimate Player have came to an abrupt halt. I currently do not have time advance the build for Ultimate Edition 3.6, 3.7, 3.8, 3.9, and most likely Ultimate Edition 4.0. Distro releases currently have priority. After I get caught up I will come back and address this issue.
