Did you try sudo update-alternatives --config java? Might be a longshot but you could be running on that 1.6 and Wine is leaning towards the 1.7, I believe. So might have to take it off the automatic and switch it to the 1.7. Hope it helps! Only reason I know is cause have to use java for school! Wine is a barrel of monkeys on a lot of machines! Hope you're not using Cinnamon desktop if you go to compile and install! Loves shredding it to pieces! Been there before!!! Just hope it helps as you have been so helpful to me, will do the best to let you know all I have learned!

Should have started reading at the beginning! Muffed this post! Thanks again TheeMahn got a few great ones of that! Is taking me a bit of time to soak everything up but will get there! Missed the start of this post(was tangled with 3.7.1 configuring). Will catch up in a day, but some things will help on current stuff am working on so really really appreciate it as am really new to this! Is like Christmas all over again. Absolutely love it!!!!

Guess can't get it quite right yet! Muffed the deb list! Told you always screw up the easiest stuff!!!! Going to try and pull this other Ultimate out of the crapper, see if I could hop it up a bit(kernel 3.5 or 3.6) and be back to do this! Giving me a hard time since have the other two systems in here as well! Hard grasping everything but will get there as soon as I can!!!! 3.7 just seems to bog down a bit with Ultimate! All except this exton kernel! Made some mistakes so have to reload and hope I can at least get that disk(Ubuntu builder) updated so can just up and at um get going again! Ah the joys of learning!!!! And all the mistakes that comes with it!!!! It is a real trip when you try configuring 3.7.1 to 3.2, lot of additions!!!! Wonder if anyone besides Linus understands all those new ones???? Will still fiddle with it, but after am back and do this build first! Absolutely love it, TheeMahn. I know am not the swiftest, but least you're giving me a great start! I can't thank you enough for it! As always say hope everything is great for you always! You're the greatest in my book!!! Happy New Year also. Might not get to say that for a bit as I reload!

I remember those days of "Thine!" was fun but when I got my DUI in '06 I gave it up! Still don't mind if someone else is there and just hope they play it safe!(Had many days of that til I was 43. Loved hard stuff!) Still smoke like a chimney, but have to have some vice I guess? Biggest vice is computers though, never give that up! Was up a little past midnight, was quiet here since it was raining hard! Didn't get the sound of shotguns this year!!! Brought the new year in with yet another failure! Am redoing now for a much needed success so I could get to this endeavor!!! Hopefully this time is fine as am hoping to burn and it will be my system for a bit! Catch y'all in a bit! Hey is where I live, right? Not here all my life, but guess they are growing on me! Great people out here just as on Ultimate! Makes life the best when you are surrounded by the best in society!

Okay came across a little fun with this architecture. Is blowing off i386 dependencies. The cure is sudo dpkg --add-architecture i386. Otherwise you will fail when you go to install ia32-libs. End result you will not be able to install Wine since it is dependent on that! Do the cure update and will be good to go! Also if using stock repos of disk another failure is gir1.2-gtksource-3.0_3.6.0-0ubuntu1_amd64. Just download the deb and dpkg and will be good to go! Am interested to see the looks of TheeMahn's but once again, I sidetracked and went on my own!!! Now if this works what should I say? I can only say "It works, but don't ask me how!" Not that bad off, but when it gets real technical would be at that point!!! What can I say, I accidently clicked on the deb to install repos, so my present ones are cashed til I fix it! Anyway, hope this helps and when this psychotic one I am working on is done, will post pictures if anyone is interested. Is my first shot at this! Gave up rebuilding that 12.04 is just too stubborn for me! Maybe this mexican quatzal one will be cool. LOL! I know its Quantal but have to kid about it!!! Well off to mess with this one and see if I can get all the things I like in it! Best wishes on this quest or adventure. I know I am learning more again! Thrilled at this, big time!!!!
