looks good.

Not sure about the router tho.Personally I don't buy Sisco products. Not because of the company, but because their products can be a pain in the ass to set up.Even in windows.

Glad to hear from ya Points.

Thanks Cell .. I read what you answered and decided to go see what staples had ..

D-Link 655 extreme
or D-link 615 for routers

and for cards they had
D-link dwa 552

think that combo will work?

I won't say they will work...but they should.Search each pruduct with google, and insert ubuntu in the search too.

Also just to let you know...wifi n is murder in linux right now.Unless someone proves me wrong your only going to connect with 802.11g right now.

You could go with a Linksys-Cisco router and upgrade the software to a DD-WRT firmware!

http://www.dd-wrt.com/site/index

My Linksys WRT610N has been running perfectly for over four month's now!
Intel 8088 CPU @ 4.77 MHz 10MB Seagate ST-412 HDD,128kB RAM

I'll second that. Flashed my WRT150N with DD-WRT over a year ago and it works great too. No problems at all.
I dumped a D-Link when I got it since it seemed like the D-Link had to be unplugged once a day to keep working.

Forgot to mention that for N band speeds you need to use WPA2 (Personal is fine no need for corporate) with AES encryption, and AES is more secure than TKIP in case you're wondering.
