compiz --replace
Actually, that's a rather common misspelling (maybe we all have a touch of dyslexia) on the web. I may have been looking at one of the pages I researched when typing that. Mea culpa. Its Not CCMS, its ccsm.
compiz --replace
Don't know - whatever the default is in Ultimate Edition 3.8 x64, fresh install, 4 times. I cannot answer definitively, as I do not have access to that machine at the moment.Which window manager are you using? Unity or mate...
I tested this on three different machines. Ran a program to check compiz hardware compatibility (can't remember the name . . . unity-check maybe) Since this involved a configuration file being unexpectedly altered, I discounted it being a hardware issue. Also, fresh install of Ubuntu 13.10 (ugh) on the same machine worked properly, not producing the magically changing ini file.
In what way did I spam or troll?
