''Ultimate Edition 4.2.3 lite'' windows' manager not launched.

Hi Guys,

I just installed Ultimate Edition 4.2.3. It works fine but the windows' manager is not launched. When I go to System/Prefs/Windows, I get a message "The current window manager is not supported". This problem happens after a very fresh install. From the start. And it was already happening using the live CD.

I just would like to know what command to launch in order to install or get back what is originally in the plan.

I forgot to say I use a AMD video card. I don't know if it is important. But I saw in the past things like that happening with one brand and not with the other one. I suppose it may be linked with the activated packages regarding the device.

Probably running Compiz, which in case it would perhaps be prudent to get your AMD drivers in line.
