It depends what you wanna do with this new storage. If you need it only as data and media storage you can format it in ntfs2 so you can see it from both OS's:windows and Ultimate Edition. In windows you can set it in 4 logical partitions maximum. <BREW>
Intel H61 ASrock H61M-VS Motherboard,

When you install it is a good idea to set mount points then. It is a pain in the ass afterwards(you have to edit your fstab file and add a folder to mount partitions). i.e. Your OS would be / other partitions would be
/media/Storage 1 /media/Storage 2 etc. You can use any names you want. /media is usually a good way to do it. i.e. /media/music or /media/movies. Here are a few link of how to edit your fstab file:

Just make sure you set the mount points when you install!! That is manual install at the partition tool!!
/ for OS
/media/whatever for one drive
/media/whatever for the other drive
Then the entry to mount your drives will be created in fstab.
