Bluetooth headset

Postby Iluvdroid » Fri Dec 12, 2014 1:21 pm

I am trying to connect a bluetooth headset and having a lot of problems. It is A2DP compatible. I figured out I neede to install blueman and got the headset to pair, at that point couldn't connect audio sync. I found out I have to run "pactl load-module module-bluetooth-discover" then "pactl list | grep -i module-bluetooth-discover" and I can now connect audio sync. Still wasn't showing in pulseaudio. Restarted and had to run the commands again to be able to connect audio sync. It now shows in pulseaudio with no sound. If I go go back in blueman and set it to A2DP, was off, now it shows twice in puseaudio and still no sound. If I click on the existing one, pulls up to change volume and mute, if I click on the other it closes. Haven't been able to find anything on this, plus I'm getting tired of scouring google and trying and trying fixes to find one that works. Any help would be much appreciated.

The computer is a Dell Latitude E6430. The headset is a generic headset, shoes up as sport-bt. No name or anything on it, packing had no writing on it.
