Where do we draw the line?

Postby BBOSAK2143 » Tue Aug 13, 2013 9:39 am

I know some people really do not care what the cost of freedom was for our forefathers or what they fought for. Even though my forefathers were not in this country at the time of that fight, I know they stood proud for what was given to them! In fact my father served this country in World War II to fight oppression. I also served, but in a time when our freedom was not under fire. Now supposedly this great country of ours stands for freedom and fights to implement those beliefs in other countries. My question is, "Are we still not oppressed and free to do things within a reasonable manner that does not infringe on others rights?" If you think I would say yes to that, you are definitely wrong! The oppression that was fought against is returning slowly but surely. The American voter has given in to it! We started this in the 90's giving permission to law enforcement authorities to search our vehicles. Now most of you would say that it had to be done as to get drugs and other bad things off the streets. I am not siding with criminals here, but I am siding with the average person. See with that law we did not stipulate any rules or laws to govern it. So my point this leads to Policeman that feel they are above the law and can seek revenge by this law. Mainly, they can abuse it and strip your car down to the frame and leave you on the side of the road. Your recourse? Nothing, junk it or put it back together. You have no right to go against authority!

Next and one of the most important aspects is work. Long ago, which seems like a lifetime ago, when an employer hired you, it was final! We had laws to support that promise of employment and could be reported to a labor board. Now, since we have had employers cry wolf and labor boards no longer want to do their jobs, that is gone! Simply, this means an employer can tell you, you are hired. Then days before or even hours before can give you a call, send an email that they no longer wish you to work for them! Is this fair? No! Now back in the 80's if this was even considered, the employer would have to disclose what the problem is. Now they do not! Imagine being told you are to start a job 2 weeks from now and then only 3 days before its start, you receive an email saying "On further review, we have decided not to go ahead with your employment with us". Do you think this is fictitious??? If you do, you are way way wrong! This travesty happened to yours truly! Of course there is no recourse for me!

Next and once again involving cars. Seat belts are considered for our safety, but shouldn't I have the choice of whether I want to wear them? No! I am to be ticketed every time I do not put that Nazi device on! I am calling it Nazi and I sure have great hatred towards a race that would choose to extinguish another and force their people to do what some nut wants them to do! Now I ask what is the difference between the Nazi's forcing their people to extinguish other races and do things against their wishes and the law telling me I have no choice but to wear that seat belt??? I do not see where I am harming another person by not wearing a seat belt. I do not see why I have to look like Hitler when I drive my car! Pictures below will illustrate this! This seat belt law has also given another way to all Police to continually harass individuals that I consider deep oppression and worthy of the Nazi race! I am dreading the day when Nazism takes over our country, but as things stand we are calling for it!

Last thing. I just heard of a woman, not sure which state. Now this woman has decided to name her child "Messiah". There is a judge that wants to take her to court and force her to rename her son to Michael! Now if that is to be done and the law gets away with making another decision which should be one of our god given freedoms in this country, it is a total loss! I ask finally "Where do we draw the line???"

Thanks Blackwolf, will have to do that. Looks like my kind of place to let a little steam off! Seems over here most people do not want to enter into some subject matter. So seeing how I seem to be offensive with this type of subject matter, will head over to the rabbit hole some time soon. Just did feel good to let off a little steam. Is better than putting holes in walls or wrecking something, but still have to lay low as I do not want to upset everyone here. Might try the other discussion there also as would really like an opinion if is a decent plan!
