I haven't heard talk about sharing much, so I decided to let you all in on one of the best Bittorrent Clients available. And no I'm not talking about Transmission, Deluge, or Qbittorrent. They do not compare to Vuze. I will let you check out the features for yourselves. Let's get down to business. First goto http://www.vuze.com/ and download the Linux Client.

Then open a root file manager and copy the tar.bz2 to the /opt directory.
2.png

For those who do not know or are not familiar with /opt, it's a directory where software and add-on packages that are not part of your disrto's default installation, should be installed to. Notice my Propriatary Drivers inside here too.
3.png

Now that you have the extracted folder vuze, lets change permissions and give your user rights to this vuze directory like so.
4.png

Then all thats left is to create a menu item. My example is done in MATE and you may have to adjust to your Desktop Environment. Be sure to point the command to the /opt/vuze/vuze. Thats it and no compiling needed.
5.png

Now you have the latest and will always have the latest vuze without any ppa or repo to handle the upgrades. I know thats a huge relief. Hope you enjoy using Vuze as I have for so many years now...
