Ultimate Edition Gamers edition and Ultamatix

Ultimate Edition Gamers edition and Ultamatix

Hello,
I have had a question about these two topics the Gamers edition and Ultamatix for quite a while so I thought I would finally ask it here where someone could finally answer it for me. I have used both the regular Ultimate Edition releases as well as the Gamers release and could never see any real differences between them other than the regular release has far fewer games included by default and the Gamers edition always lags behind the regular releases of Ultimate Edition. Why can't you have a Games section in Ultamatix that has all the games that are normally included in the Gamers edition and let the end user pick and choose the games they want to install and just forgo the development of a standalone Gamers edition release? That way everyone if they choose to can build their own Gamers edition using the newest version of Ultimate Edition.
Thanks,
Robert

There isnt except for gamers 3.0 which is lubuntu desktop (more lightweight). Alot of requests have been made for tailored installations, regardless of whether its games or software. I'm pretty sure i had one myself because i liked how opensuse's installer let you choose packaged selections before installation. But the amount of work it would take to do this would be tremendous. Thee already has his work cut out for him. Not to mention he's most likely thought about it years ago. But Ultimate Edition is based off ubuntu, so untill or if ubuntu adds this type of feature, i doubt it will ever come about in Ultimate Edition...
