hello i tried Ultimate Lite and i liked it,the only problem i had was with the sound, when using Ultimate 2.9 i could click on the sound icon and go to sound pref. and from there i could turn the volume right up,but on Lite i cannot do this and i need to be able to do this because my Acer Aspire 5536 laptops sound is not very good on the volume,i would go back to Lite if i could increase the sound like 2.9 ?
thank you.

A minute since I have been here, from an outsiders view it would appear I have quit on this. I think about it this way, 8 GB is no longer so excessive 4 GB is really what is needed at a Ultimate Edition 2.6 hand & not even referring to a "lite" condition. My life in general is a plummel of me deciding where it is best to spend my time. I know many say a monkey on their back well mine is an ape and I get pummeled ;) Once again I have not forgot.

Look @ my sig @ currently 12GB, which is better 8 GB of 2100 or 12 GB running at 1333? I have the answer, actually my sig has the answer. I have read all over the net X amount of ram is overkill. They may say that because they have never seen it. I have put it through the tests. Of course my answer is more ;)

I would love more RAM, but I am running 2.6.3 and 3.0 with 3GB and 2.9 with 2GB at work, and it works fine, I have to be careful with RAM hogs like Firefox tho

Try Opera, Bill. I have been using it since I started with computers. It has a nice feature called speed dial. When you open it up,you can place your bookmarks right in front of you.

I've moved to Chrome, does most of what I need. I use FF for a couple things, but Chrome rocks the house

For anyone running into this..doubtful..but..anyways..I assumed I had something go wrong somewhere because after install it came up as xsession not responding when I logged in. Just change the session to Lubuntu. It's obvious to me now, but I wasn't paying attention the first time I ran into it.

And now, the completely true facts, as told by an anonymous man hiding behind a screen name:
