Linux likes lots of ram. I have 4 gig ddr2 667 in my Linux box. 3 gig ddr3 1333 in my Windows one. I need the 4 gig to run my virtual operating systems. 2 gig is about the minimum these days. It just makes everything much snappier and is so cheap these days why not(I paid 80 bucks Canadian for 4 gigs of Kingston-my favorite-works in any motherboard without a hitch). I tried some oddball ram before. Don't waste your money!!!

Where is that extra ram in your sig? Install the ram before you install. It will speeds things up quite a bit.

What is it you want to find on 2.1 32 bit that you don't have on 64bit? on a system like yours I wouldn't bother trying 32bit, as long as you can run 64bit. it's basically the same version with the same software just that runs twice faster!
