I have internet connection  as i was navigating during the update of 124 packages (except the first 14 which i posted). If i start ubuntu i still have the notifier that there are these updates available, but it faills to download them...don't know why...
For me it looks like the location of those particular packages are not where they're supposed to be...guessing

Thanks for the link, i will try it out as soon as i get home

I think I know what it is doing, its done it to me before. Are all the packages that are not able to be d'loaded start with "K"? Alot of those are for KDE, I had to login to KDE to update those packages. Seems weird, but thats what it was. Are you in Nautilus when trying to install these? Log-out and then switch "session" to KDE and then try the updates. Hope this helps. I'm a 'noob', and have little experiance, but am gaining momentum! :D

Am i doing something wrong?

I need to warn you guys that i am an almost absolute beginner with Linux :))

But,

I can also make a very short review:
Installing from CD UU1.4 the computer (Athlon XP 1700+, 2GB RAM, ATI 9550) was quite slow, but after running the update script, its faster! I'm impressed!

Thanks in advance for any advices.

P.S. TheeMahn, I'm grateful for your work on Ultimate edition!

Its not just you, had to shut down the repo and reload it bandwidth exceeded. It may be a chmod problem looking into it now. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. Welcome aboard.

reboot
