Nice artwork, you should post it in the Your art section of this forum, I am sure many would appreciate it. I thought I would also post that wallpapoz is on the Ultimate Edition repo for others, it can be installed by:
Code: Select all
sudo apt-get wallpapoz

Thanks,

TheeMahn

I'd suggest just a TINY *typo* correction here :)
Code: Select all
sudo apt-get install wallpapoz

You should know cab, the guy that "just does not care", manually or not he does "make it happen", you will see it before anyone else. Alberto Milone's website, creator of envy makes all happen as far as drivers, yes I know this dude as well and is a programing sense of genius & deserves this right. Cab on the other hand does not care. I also run that kernel not the driver I run ATI, I ran it before he did BTW. You always take your chances.

I will not do that with you when I "make" your latest / greatest". Wow the impact??? Wait until you see, I have had admin on my rump wanting to check it out, I am sure Pioneer nix is waiting, believe that what took them years I do in days & properly.

I would place money to say an extra million hits per day once set. First of all works in Vanilla Ubuntu, Ultimate Edition and Debian. Straight up is what I wanted all to understand. This is no Usplash maker... Heaven forbid I hammer M$ Results 1 - 10 of about 11,800,000 for ultimate edition. (0.05 seconds) ;). Do I know what I am doing?

What would Bill think if he did not retire, he got out when the getting was good?

There is an individual that watches over me that works at google, do you see that? Can only be done by a human, wait until the "official" release. ATI / AMD at this point can be glad I do not press the issue.

Itch ville (german for you will), funny I lived ach tool (means "my friend" in Israilian) .. what do I know?

die juden sind unser unglunk, I do know what that means. And do not mean it. Enjoy that.

So to speak VERY non accurately,
You updated to the new kernel BEFORE the "arrangement was so" that the new driver was auto installed by EnvyNG when the new kernel was being updated, / before new drivers was out for ubuntu / EnvyNG ;)
You kinda failed between the chairs, IMO, so to speak.

No responsibility taken
- You may try to uninstall the drivers and reinstall it by envyNG .
If you have a new card, at least one which is not auto-detected BEFORE - please use MANUAL choosing / install of the driver by envyNG . (Manually chose the new driver for nVIDIA)

Better chose it manually ANYWAY this time, just in case.
(hardware detection might be not added / working well for the new cards yet)

I am still a newbie, so this post might be very non accurate, mind you.

I always forget to warn others when I post something like this. I Have backports open among other things, I do this because I can reinstall things in no time but I like to know whats coming down the pipe so to speak. There is about a 99% chance someone on here will be posting my wireless doesnt work! Oh new kernal I forgot to reinstall drivers. This happens over and over and I had to reinstall my video drivers when I did the new kernal. I was surprised when I ran envyNG that there was a new version of drivers for nvidia. I had to compile them last time to use this version and I wanted to share this but left out many details.

I can't wait to go back to 64 bit... Uploading Ultimate Edition 1.8 Gamers (32 bit)for past seems like 2 days it is a big beast, perhaps the largest release to date. I will also work to make games work in 64 bit, the Ultimate Edition upgrade script will take care of this for you, I have put a t totally ton of work into it, only ones that have been able to touch it admin period, it will not see the web for the end user to touch until I can see results across the board. Being in 32 bit it is about 90% there. I will tell you this it makes automatix's work look like chump change & I will not sell out on you like they did.

Well it failed re-upload ~20 hrs amazing... Resume did not happen may ask for help... sit tight.
