I thought that I had done that already. See screenshots below. I tried entering the term. command to update the key but the key wasn't updated. At a loss as to what else to try. Funny, but my Mint 13 system doesn't seem to give me any problems.

I live in Niagara Falls Canada so Waterloo is the closest one to me.

Go to download from and pick a different mirror.
You need to fix the broken packages first.

OK, so I've done pretty much all that has been suggested. Nothing I do seems to help. Take a look at this screenshot. Something more than offline repos has to be amiss here when an update needs more than 500 GB of space!!!

The warning says you need hundreds of gigabytes of space(530 gigs)! Pick a different mirror to update and see if that works. If not start from scratch. Re-install.
